Areas of Focus

Our purpose is grounded in faith in Jesus. Each aspect of our ministry is geared toward sharing the truth found in the good news of the gospel, and how God continues to work in our ministry today.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize. Therefore, run in such a way as to win.”

1 Corinthians 9:24

The experience of playing, coaching, or spectating a sport has the ability to teach lessons unattainable anywhere else. Giving the opportunity to try a new sport, meet a new friend, and learn about Jesus all in one day brings us so much joy. It is through sports that we can represent the Kingdom of God in any gym, on any field, and to anyone.

We were not created to be in isolation but to be together. We all want to be accepted and known in a personal way. It is our goal to create safe spaces for children, coaches, athletes, and families to engage and be in community.

Whether it is through our chaplaincy program, summer sports camps, events, or through building a lifelong relationships, there is a place for you at Run To Win. Being the Church means being together outside of the walls of a building and in the community.

Who is your hero and why?
My Grandma, Emma, who was one of many children of a Homesteading family in Redmond in the early 1900s. She was a working mom before it was popular who taught Debbie the basics of sewing, cooking, gardening, and believed in Jesus.

Any interesting facts?
I have a degree in Medical Photography, but worked ten years as an Assistant Photographer at the Seattle Art Museum. I’m a true Seattle native…born and raised in the great Pacific Northwest!

What inspires you?
The many missionaries and pastors I have had the privilege of knowing and working with – whether stateside or overseas. I am inspired by their lives of faith, humility and love for Jesus.
