Run To Win sports camps are just around the corner.  We have some great camps lined up for this year and invite you to be part of the fun.  We will share with campers God’s desire for all of us to keep our focus on the Lord both on and off the playing field as we run the great race of faith! Head coaches

A Head Coach is typically invited on to be a Head Coach based on experience or excellent past RTW Assistant Coach experience. If you have not been a previous coach with Run To Win but feel like you would be a great fit, please discuss this opportunity with the Director of Camp Operations. Head Coaches are vital to RTW & we thank you for the extra mile you’ll go and your big heart!

• Pick up and drop off camp equipment at RTW Office

• Communicate with Camp Director in timely and consistent manner

• Oversee camper and coach day-to-day procedures and activities

• Need a means of transportation to camps

• Memorize the names of campers

• Strong leadership skills, especially being able to assess the situation to make the best judgment call that is based on camper safety, professionalism and boundaries.

• Manager of safety, fun, and encouragement

• Coach-able, humble, willing to learn new things every day

• Willing to be a servant leader

Assistant coaches

Your role as an Assistant Coach is to teach skills and sportsmanship as directed by the Head Coach. You are an extension of the Head Coach. You will also lead your team and encourage your athletes both on and off the field. This includes “Team Time” consisting of scripture memory verses, sharing stories, and possibly sharing your own testimony!

• Assist Head Coaches as needed

• Arrive prepared!

• Lead by example

• Ensure that kids have a fun and safe experience

• Memorize the names of campers

• Share the love of Christ to all

• Be willing to lead Team Time with your small group

• Teach sports skills and follow the schedule

• Come with fun ideas for games and drills and more!

RTW Hiring Process

Once your application is received, wait for an application confirmation from the Director of Camp Operations. They will set up an interview with you - either in person or via Zoom. If you have not received anything within a week of applying, please contact the office for an update on the status of your application. After the interview process, you must complete the mandatory Coaches Trainings. Training details will be announced through email. Without completing the training, you will not be scheduled to coach! You will then receive your coaching schedule. If you have not received the first week’s schedule before the first camp, please contact the RTW Staff.  We look forward to working with you to make camps amazing!
